February 02-March 12, 2017 MORE
Cost: FREE

Juliet Karelsen's exhibition brings together several series of work: her intensely lyrical needlework studies of lichen, needlepoint portraits of family and famous folk like Jerry Garcia, and gouache paintings of the things left behind in her parents' Manhattan apartment after their deaths. The work is tender and funny in turns (and sometimes at the same time). The gallery is open 12-4pm Tuesdays through Sundays and by appointment.
