Have you ever wanted to try scuba diving? Now is your chance. The UMF Fitness and Recreation Center, in collaboration with Mainely Scuba, is offering a night for people to take part in a 1 1/2 hour "Try Scuba" class. All equipment needed to dive is provided. Their professionally certified instructors will orient you to scuba equipment, basic dive techniques, safety related to the sport, and get you diving in the pool. Mainely Scuba follows standards of Scuba School International. Should you decide to get certified, the fee of this program will be deducted from the scuba certification course.
