Evening Flat Water Paddle on Webb Lake

Get out on the water and leisurely explore a local lake by kayak. Appropriate for all ability levels. Bring your own kayak if possible. Limited number of kayaks available for rent. Minimum age of 13. Under 13 allowed with preapproval and adult supervision. Meet at UMF Fitness and Recreation Center. Open to the public.

Weekly Grammar Workshops
October 3rd, 2012 - 7:00pm
Weekly Grammar Workshops will be held every Wednesday from 7-8pm from October 3 until October 24. These workshops can help students who wish to improve their grammar skills and are also designed to prepare students for taking the Praxis Exam. Students from any discipline or major are encouraged to attend if they want an out-of-class opportunity to hone their grammar skills. Run for students by students, the workshops will cover topics such as comma usage, parts of speech, sentence construction, forms of adjectives and adverbs, subject-verb agreement, noun-pronoun agreement, and parallelism. In addition, the students running the workshops intend to structure the topics based on the needs of those who participate. Room 113, UMF Education Center. Open to the public.

The LinQ LGBT Support Group
