Try Scuba

Have you ever wanted to try Scuba Diving? The UMF Fitness and Recreation Center, in collaboration with Mainely Scuba, is offering 2 separate nights for people to take part in a 3 1/2 hour "Try Scuba" class. All equipment needed to dive is provided. Their professionally certified instructors will familiarize you with the scuba equipment, basic dive techniques, safety related to the sport, and get you diving in the pool. Mainely Scuba follows standards of Scuba School International. Should you decide to get certified, the fee of this program will be deducted from the scuba certification course. Minimum age of 13 or if under 13, allowed with preapproval and adult supervision. UMF Fitness & Recreation Center Pool. Open to the public.
