This program is a half-day training conducted at University of Maine at Farmington by Certified Helpers Trainers. After completing this training you will have the skills needed to talk with someone about their tobacco use in a friendly and effect manner. You will also receive a certification for doing this training. Room 103, UMF Education Center. Open to the public.

Pink Ribbons, Inc.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, so the UMF Students Activists for Gender Equality are screening "Pink Ribbons, Inc."an exploration and critique of the commercialization of the "breast cancer culture"and its "pinkness.". Lincoln Auditorium, UMF Roberts Learning Center. Open to the public.
