Karen Montanaro Presents Tanzspiel

The Arts Institute of Western Maine is proud to present world-renowned dancer and mime artist Karen Montanaro in her show, Tanzspiel. Tanzspiel is a one-woman tour de force, suitable for young and old, celebrating the expressive potential of the human body, blending the arts of mime and dance to create theater with rare physical and emotional power. It includes mime-dances from Montanaro's original and varied repertoire. Nordica Auditorium, UMF Merrill Hall. $12; students-FREE. Open to the public. Sponsored by Arts Institute of Western Maine.
