Conveniently located at the center of the campus in Franklin Hall, the UMF Learning Assistance Center provides free tutoring in nearly any UMF course.

If you feel you could use additional help with a course, just come over to the Learning Assistance Office, fill out an application and you’ll receive the personal attention you need. We can arrange for a one-on-one tutor, recommend a group study session, or give you tried and true strategies on how to improve your study habits.

All of these services are free, most take place after regular class times, and best of all — they work! We really want to succeed at UMF.

Tutors are recommended by faculty and meet with students individually or in small groups to provide extra help in coursework.

Help is also available in math and writing on a walk-in basis at the on-campus Math Clinic and Writing Center.
