FARMINGTON, ME (June 3, 2025)—Gold LEAF Institute, the senior college at the University of Maine at Farmington, will present “The Art Among Us3,” an exhibit of work by more than 40 local artists, in the UMF Emery Community Arts Center Gallery, from June 20 through August 21, 2025. An opening reception will be held Friday, June 20, from 5-7 p.m. Events are free and open to the public.
This collaborative exhibit features a wide variety of work including acrylics, fiber, prints, needlepoint, sketches, photos, wood, glass, mosaics and more. Many of the artists will be present at the reception. An additional “Meet the Artists” event will be held at Emery, Saturday, July 26, 4-6 p.m.

“Bringing this artwork to Emery provides the public a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the dedicated creative practices of our community artists,” said Ann Bartges, Emery director.

A signature Gold LEAF event, the first “Art Among Us” exhibit was held in the summer of 2018, and again in 2022. “The Art Among Us3” is just one of many Gold LEAF Institute events promoting life-long learning. Summer term listings can be viewed at www.goldleafinstitute.org.
