Dr. Gina Oswald is a new assistant professor at the University of Maine at Farmington in the rehabilitation services department. Most recently she was a full professor at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio where she was the program director for the undergraduate in rehabilitation services program and graduate transition to work endorsement, as well as oversaw the veteran services and disability studies minors. She is a certified rehabilitation counseling (national) and licensed professional counselor (Ohio). Dr. Oswald’s experience and research focuses on areas such as community accessibility, universal design for people with disabilities, ecotherapy, mindfulness, yoga, program evaluation, technology-driven instructional design, rehabilitation education, and international education.
