Jared Cash

Vice President for Enrollment and External Affairs
Jared serves on the University’s executive leadership team and directs the University’s strategic enrollment and external affairs activities, providing oversight and leadership to the offices of Admissions, Advancement, Financial Aid, and Marketing and Communications. He serves as co-chair of Farmington’s Recruitment and Retention Committee, leading efforts aimed at increasing student success, persistence, and four-year graduation rates.
Preceding UMF, Cash was Scholarship Director at the George J. Mitchell Institute for Scholarship and Research, serving graduates from all 130 Maine high schools attending over 75 colleges, and Senior Associate Dean of Admissions at his alma mater, Bates College, where he earned bachelor’s degrees in economics and political science.Jared will complete his master’s degree at Northeastern University in higher education administration this spring.  A former member of the University’s Board of Visitors, Cash is a member of the College Board and the National Association for College Admission Counseling. For the past six years, he has also served as a board member for Maine’s Oxford Hills School District and has twice chaired the strategic planning process for the eight communities served by the region’s 10 public schools.
