Steven Wenz teaches Spanish language and culture courses. He holds a PhD in Spanish and Portuguese from Vanderbilt University, and his dissertation studied the representation of national identity in contemporary Argentine literature and culture. He has published articles on 18th-century Peninsular literature and Golden-Age authors such as Miguel de Cervantes and Luis de Góngora. His other academic interests include translation studies and the digital humanities.
