After you’re accepted to Farmington (We’ve said “Yes” to you)

  • Say Yes to UMF! Confirm your spot in the UMF Class of 2025. Submit your enrollment deposit and the Admission Reply Form. Remember, earlier confirmation results in the best class selection.
  • Join our Class of 2025 Facebook Group. More info on this will be coming your way.
  • Go to accounts.maine.edu to set up your personal MaineStreet portal. How to activate your account and log in to MaineStreet. You’ll need your Student ID number, Username and Activation Code. This was  sent to you via email after you applied.
  • Check your maine.edu email, which is a gmail account (gmail.maine.edu) or forward it to another email address you do check. We will be sending important information to your “maine.edu” email address.
  • File the 2021-2022 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The UMF code is 002040.
  • Check your MaineStreet portal mainestreet.maine.edu for financial aid updates and other items on your To Do list in the Student Self-Service Center.

After you’ve Confirmed (You’ve said “Yes” to UMF)

  •  Visit myCampus, mycampus.umf.maine.edu, your Farmington specific portal with a “New Student” section just for you. Use your MaineStreet Username and Password to sign in. How to activate your account and log in to MaineStreet.
  • Complete the Housing Application and Room and Board License. These can be accessed on myCampus starting in February.
  • Complete the Financial Terms and Conditions Agreement, located on your To Do list in MaineStreet. Note: This must be done before you can be registered for classes. Also, review and accept your financial aid awards.
  • Complete the Course Planning Form (on myCampus) so your advisor knows which courses you would prefer on your fall schedule. The form explains required courses for your major and allows you to select from some of UMF’s fun and quirky topics courses.
  • Make sure your academic transcripts have been sent, including Dual Enrollment classes and AP exam results.
    These must be requested by you (we cannot do this) and sent directly to:

  • Sign Up for Summer Experience and First-Year Fusion classes.
  • Move-In Days for New Residential Students is Thurs & Fri, August 26 & 27
  • Orientation for ALL New Students: residential, non-residential and transfers is Fri, Sat, Sun — August 27- 29
