UMF Disc Golf Classic
Saturday, Sept. 29, 2018
Smoke the chains with UMF alumni and friends at the first-annual UMF Disc Golf Classic Doubles Tournament at Troll Valley in Farmington — a woodsy 18-hole course, featuring a pro-shop, snack bar, and clubhouse with public bathrooms and a campground located 5 minutes from campus. Campsites are available the night before for the low price of $5 per person, payable to Troll Valley the afternoon/evening of Friday, Sept. 28. The UMF Disc Golf Classic features closest-to-the-pin cash prizes, as well as a pay-as-you-go barbecue at Troll Valley following the tournament.

There are two registration options — with and without a UMF Disc Golf Classic t-shirt. Registration without t-shirt is $12. Registration with t-shirt is $22.

UMF Fall Fest 2018 — Friends, Family and Alumni Weekend
Saturday, Sept. 29, 2018
All new programming is in the works for this signature fall homecoming weekend, including an on-campus farmer’s market, a disc-golf tournament, home athletic contests, and an evening a cappella performance featuring UMF’s own Clefnotes. Come reconnect with classmates, sample locally sourced produce and gourmet foods, cheer on the Beavers, take in a performance by the Clefnotes, and enjoy campus and downtown Farmington just as fall foliage begins to peak.

UMF Athletics Hall of Fame Induction

Join friends of UMF Athletics in celebrating the next class of inductees at a 5:15 p.m. social, followed by a 6 p.m. dinner and award ceremony. Registration details to follow.

Mainely Outdoors Golf Scramble
10 a.m., Sunday, Sept. 30, 2018, Turner Highlands, Turner, Maine
Come play 18 holes to support Mainely Outdoors programming and the purchase of outdoor recreation equipment available for the UMF community. Teams of four will compete for the best gross score, with individual prizes for the longest drive, closest to the pin, and a putting contest. All skill levels welcome! Foursome, individual and partial-team registrations are encouraged. The $50 per-person registration fee includes 18 holes, cart, lunch, awards, and prizes. Register by 5 p.m., Friday, September 28.
