Details on January 2023 Orientation & Move-In Day

As the snow begins to fall here at the University of Maine at Farmington, we’re busy getting ready for all New and Transfer Student Orientation for the start of the Spring 2023 Semester. Whether you’ve already decided to attend UMF this Spring or are still thinking abut it, here’s some info that may help you as you move forward in your college journey.

Spring 2023 Move-In Day & Orientation

> Move-In Day for new residential students:  Friday, January 13

> Orientation Dates for All students:  Friday, January 13 – Monday, January 16

Already-Committed Student Information

We’re excited to have you join us in January and we’re here to help you feel ready to begin your time at UMF. Welcome aboard!

Two important things to review regularly are the Pre-Arrival Checklist and this Orientation Page. These reside on our myCampus internal portal. (As an accepted student, you have access to these.)

These pages on myCampus will be updated regularly, and the myCampus Orientation page will have multiple Zoom sessions available beginning in early December. You’re not required to attend these but we strongly encourage you to look at what we’re offering and join any sessions that might interest you.

Still Undecided?

Making the decision to commit to any college or university can be difficult for many reasons, especially if you’re thinking of starting at a new place in the middle of the year. We understand this and offer you support while you make your decision. Come jump into one of these Zoom sessions and ask us whatever you like. We’re here to help you.
