CLEP Tests are 90-minute, multiple-choice, computer based exams. Earning college credit through CLEP testing saves money; consider the advantages of paying $119 for college credit through one CLEP Exam or more than $500 for a college course.

To Register
To register for an exam, go to: https://collegeboard.org – create an account through My Account Registration Portal, select the exam and pay the $93 exam fee. Print your registration ticket with your voucher number.
To Schedule
Call 207-778-7666 and be prepared to provide your voucher number.
CLEP Exams are administered Monday-Friday by individual appointment.
Fee
$30 administrative fee must be paid at time of scheduling by debit or credit.
Cancellation policy
Rescheduling policy: at least a 24 hr notice is required to reschedule ( at no charge).
Check-in Policies
Report at least 15minutes prior to exam time with oneforms of identification, one of which must bear a picture. No cell phones, electronic devices or food/drink allowed in the testing rooms.We have lockers witha key.

CLEP Tests Accepted at UMF
*UMF will accept credit for one natural science course, not two.
**Credit will be awarded provided that the student also passes an in-house test.
Note: The required scores and credits awarded follow the American Council of Education (ACE) CLEP recommendations. The minimum scores listed here are subject to change based on updates from the College Board.
UMF Policy: Students are limited to earning a total of 15 credits (the equivalent of one semester of full-time study) via CLEP testing.
Directions to UMF Testing Services, Franklin Hall
UMF’s Franklin Hall is located at 252 Maine Street, Farmington, the tall white building at the corner of South Street and Main Street. Testing Services is located on the 3rd floor and is elevator accessible.
Parking
Park in Lot 17 to the left of Franklin Hall. Please park in spots that are designated for Testing. On-street parking is also available but limited.
