Graduation Speeches from the Farmington Community

To help celebrate the Class of 2020, we asked the Farmington community of faculty, staff, alumni, and graduates to share short speeches in honor of this momentous occasion. More than fifty individuals submitted remarks on behalf of our graduating class.

Class of 2020 Virtual Toast

Peter Osborne ‘09, president of UMF’s alumni council, was pleased to induct the Class of 2020 into the alumni association as part of a champagne toast on their Graduation Day.


GoldenOak Performance

What is a celebration without music? In honor of the the Class of 2020, UMF hosted a special virtual performance by the talented, Maine-based band, GoldenOak.

A traditional, in-person, Commencement ceremony will be held on the Farmington campus later this summer.
