Bio:

Robert Hollis, a former three-year captain for the University of Maine at Farmington cross country and track & field teams, rejoined the Beavers as an assistant coach in October 2021.

Hollis was a standout distance runner for the Beavers during his time at UMF. He was named the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Runner of the Year in 2015 and was named first-team All-Conference three times from 2015 to 2017. Hollis still holds records for Track and Field in the 1500m, 5k, and 10k events.

Recently he competed in the 2021 Maine Marathon and finished in eighth place with a time of 2:37:58.

Hollis is a 2018 graduate of UMaine-Farmington with a degree in community health education. He is currently a personal endurance coach, helping athletes prepare for races from 5k up to a full marathon.
