Living Learning Communities
Living Learning Communities at Farmington offer you a unique, inclusive, residential experience, with the added benefit of living among peers who share similar goals and interests. As an active member of a Living Learning Community, you’ll get an opportunity to build partnerships with other students and staff while engaging in purposeful, interactive programs and events. You’ll develop a sense of belonging while you share and deepen your passion.
UMF Student Housing has three different Living Learning Communities: Leadership in Dakin Hall, Service Impact in Mallett Hall, and Outdoors Action & Adventure in Stone Hall.
Theme Communities
Theme Communities allow students to live among others who share a similar personal or academic interest or passion. Theme communities offer residents new learning opportunities through social and educational programming around a theme. A Theme Community may encompass a floor or an entire hall and focuses on a shared interest or common experience.
