Our degree completion pathway is for anyone who started college somewhere or who has valuable prior learning experiences and skills who want to complete their bachelor’s degree with Farmington.
How can UMF help me?
- Choose your program: Discuss your goals with an advisor and decide which degree program best meets your needs and interests.
- Convenient-to-you schedule: Online, hybrid, evening, and/or Saturday classes.
- Individual attention: Small classes where you’ll know your professors and your professors will know you.
- Peer connections: Collaborate with motivated classmates who are also finishing their degree.
- Personalized advising: Academic advisors at UMF who focus on your individual goals and guide you across the finish line.
- After-hours support: Staff will be on-hand to help you weeknights after 5pm.
- Affordable tuition: We can help you discover scholarships and assistance you may not know exists.
We provide the support you need to finish your degree.
Whether you’ve been out of college for a few years or two decades, we can help you earn your degree. We’ll work with you to create a manageable, affordable degree plan that:
- Identifies college-level knowledge you already have—for credit
- Transfers college credits you’ve earned from previous coursework
- Fits with your professional goals
- Pinpoints what you still need to learn
Melissa Parziale left UMF only needing a few credits to graduate. “I was young and was ready to experience life,” said Parziale, “but I loved Farmington and even though I have had some career success, it was the one thing that always nagged at me that I didn’t graduate. I was at a point in my career where I asked myself ‘What’s next?’ Ashley helped me answer that. It was a quick turnaround to go from almost an alumni to a UMF degree holder. I can’t wait to put my diploma up in my office and if anyone asks me I will say it was definitely worth it. It’s never too late!”

Ashley Montgomery, Assistant Dean of Teaching, Learning and Assessment I love working with adults to complete their bachelors degrees. It started when I learned about a former student who hadn’t finished their degree and I found the experience so validating that I became invested in helping folks like you navigate their way to a degree. |
