Our In-Person Visits & Tours are by appointment only and there may be certain COVID information you’ll need to know in advance. Click the button below for details and to make an appointment.

We offer personalized guided campus tours and information sessions on select Saturdays in the Fall. Your visit will include a tour and an info session. You can also grab lunch in the South Dining Hall — on us.

Of course, you’re always welcome to stroll our open campus whenever you like. Just know that some of our buildings may be closed after-hours and indeed key-card access.

Join us at one of our Fall Open Houses for college-bound students and their families. Come see why UMF may be the right fit for you.

In addition to student-guided campus tours, you’ll self-select which information sessions you’d like to attend.

  • Major-specific sessions with faculty and current students
  • Sessions on the admissions process and financial aid
  • What it’s like to be a varsity athlete at a NCAA Div III College
  • Travel courses
  • Student clubs & organizations and more

You’ll also enjoy lunch in our South Dining Hall and have the opportunity to check out the surrounding area.

Got a Friday free this Fall? Come to the University of Maine at Farmington for a Fall Fridays @ Farmington visit.

Offered most Fridays this Fall — October 7 through December 9 — 10:15am to 12:30pm

  • Join us for a campus tour with a Student Ambassador, followed by a conversation with UMF Admissions staff who will share information about the college search process and help you learn why Farmington may be the right college fit for you.
  • Meet with some professors, Athletics coaches and current students.
  • Afterwards, you and your family can enjoy lunch in our campus dining hall (optional & complimentary).

We are also participating in a number of College Fairs and High School visits. These include NACAC College Fairs, NEACAC College Fairs, Big Future Day Fairs, the UMaine System’s own On Track for College – Maine Fair. Plus a slew of high school visits in Maine and other states.
