Global Education Fund
The Global Education Fund (GEF) scholarship is awarded by UMF’s Global Education Council for an international educational experience, including studying (travel courses and semester programs), teaching, research, and internships abroad.
UMF Semester Abroad Scholarships
The purpose of these scholarships is to encourage students to immerse themselves in a foreign culture for a semester or more while studying at UMF.

George J Mitchell Peace Scholarship to Ireland
This scholarship was established in honor of Senator Mitchell’s role in brokering the Peace Accord in Northern Ireland. UMF students can apply to study at University College Cork in Ireland.

Other Study Abroad Scholarships
There are a number of other scholarships to financially assist students who would like to study abroad during their undergraduate career. The Office of Global Education provides support for students who wish to apply for these competitive national scholarships.
