Each Graduate Certificate program is a series of related graduate-level courses designed to provide you with a concentrated, cohesive area of study. They’re intended to help you achieve specified learning objectives and competencies in a defined field of study — enhancing your professional credentials and providing employers with a well-qualified leader.
Enrollment Requirements
- Completion of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education
- At least two (2) years of teaching experience for the Certificate in Administration
Note: Completion of a UMF Graduate Certificate program does not guarantee admission into any of UMF Master’s degree programs.
A UMF Graduate Certificate program typically requires a minimum of 9 and a maximum of 15 graduate credit hours taken through UMF. No credits can be earned through testing, transfer of credits, through life experience, or previous work experience. (Exceptions may be made at the discretion of the UMF Associate Provost and Dean of Education)
