Open to the public as well as University of Maine at Farmington students and staff, the UMF Fitness & Recreation Center is the campus and community hub of activity, health and outdoor recreation.

Monday 6am – 8pm 6:30am – 9:30am, 12:00pm – 1:00pm & 4:30pm – 7:30pm
Tuesday 6am – 8pm 6:30am – 9:30am, 11:00am – 1:00pm & 4:30pm – 7:30pm
Wednesday 6am – 8pm 6:30am – 9:30am, 12:00pm – 1:00pm & 4:30pm – 7:30pm
Thursday 6am – 8pm 11:00am – 1:00pm & 4:30pm – 7:30pm
Friday 6am – 8pm 6:30am – 9:30am & 12:00pm – 1:00pm
Saturday 10am – 5pm 10:30am – 1:30pm
Sunday 10am – 5pm Closed

The UMF Fitness & Recreation Center features:

  • A fully-equipped weight room with free weights and machines
  • A large cardio fitness area with equipment
  • Three multi-purpose courts
  • 1/8 mile walking/jogging track (walking only due to COVID)
  • 25-yard swimming pool (Click here for policies.)

The Fitness & Rec Center offers a wide range of group fitness classes for all levels and abilities: step-aerobics, Zumba, spinning, yoga, pilates, water workout, kick boxing and more. Plus professional fitness trainers, swim lessons, children’s programs, American Red Cross programs and more.
