Masks are required for entry and at all times (except while swimming and showering) in the FRC.
Open to the public as well as University of Maine at Farmington students and staff, the UMF Fitness & Recreation Center is the campus and community hub of activity, health and outdoor recreation.
Hours of Operation
From Saturday, Dec 18 through Sunday, Jan 16, the FRC will operate on the break schedule listed below.

The UMF Fitness & Recreation Center features:
- A fully-equipped weight room with free weights and machines
- A large cardio fitness area with equipment
- Three multi-purpose courts
- 1/8 mile walking/jogging track (walking only due to COVID)
- 25-yard swimming pool (Click here for policies.)
The Fitness & Rec Center offers a wide range of group fitness classes for all levels and abilities: step-aerobics, Zumba, spinning, yoga, pilates, water workout, kick boxing and more. Plus professional fitness trainers, swim lessons, children’s programs, American Red Cross programs and more.
