Mantor Library has a variety of resources designed to make doing research easier:

Research Guides include Subject Guides with search tips and suggested resources for subject-specific research and Course Guides designed to assist students with research on topics relevant to a course or for a class assignment or research project.

A to Z Databases is the complete list of Mantor Library’s subscription databases and additional recommended research-related tools.

Interlibrary Loan (Illiad) can be used to request items not available through the URSUS or MaineCat catalogs or the library’s databases. University of Maine at Farmington faculty, staff and students, as well as Courtesy card holders, can create a free account to use ILLiad.

Citation Styles Guide includes information about APA, MLA and other commonly used citation styles, as well as information about the open-source citation manager Zotero.

How Do I…? includes tutorials on search basics, finding books and articles, evaluating information, finding scholarly sources, using primary sources, and more.
