Escort Program
The UMF Escort Program, under the direct supervision of the UMF Department of Public Safety/Campus Police, provides campus escort services to students, faculty, staff and guests of UMF during night time hours. Individuals who request an escort, will be walked from one campus location to another.
To use the escort program call the UMF Department of Public Safety/Campus Police at 207-778-7400 or by dialing 3-1-1 from any call box on campus. Individuals will automatically be connected to the on-duty Campus Police Officer and either the officer or our student escorts will assist you.
Life Safety Phones & Emergency Call Boxes
Life Safety phones are located throughout campus and can be used to reach the UMF Department of Public Safety/Campus Police or 9-1-1 services. The life safety phones are located both within buildings, in elevators and in outdoor locations (see enclosed map below). The outdoor emergency call boxes are equipped with blue lights for better visibility.
