Twelfth Annual University of Maine Farmington Symposium

May 4th and 5th, 2010

Michael D. Wilson Symposium took place on May 4th and 5th, 2010. It was the fourth year for the event to be named for Michael D. Wilson and included an entire arts week stretching from the 29th to the 8th. The Trustee Professorship is given each year to one UMF faculty member in recognition of her/his distinguished record of scholarly or creative work and is now to be recognized as a part of the annual Symposium. This year honored Dr. David Gibson. Multiple special sessions of the Michael D. Wilson Research Fellows and Scholars were also part of the festivities. Along with Senior arts presentations, nearly three hundred students presented some 130 presentations with an all-time high of 78 posters.
